1 Day Trip From Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou

Please note: This is a day trip with no overnight stay. Therefore, the tour begins and ends in Marrakech on the same day, and we do not include accommodation in Marrakech as part of this excursion.

Your journey begins with a convenient 8:30 am pickup from your Marrakech hotel. From there, settle in for a scenic drive across the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass, where you can enjoy breathtaking views and take photo stops at traditional Berber villages.

Afterwards, your first highlight will be the magnificent Ksar of Aït Benhaddou. Specifically, here, you will have time to explore its ancient, fortified alleys before enjoying free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, the excursion continues to Ouarzazate, known as the “Door of the Desert.” For example, you will visit two iconic sites: first, the renowned Atlas Film Studios, and then the historic Taourirt Kasbah.

To conclude, following these visits, you will begin the scenic return drive through the mountains, arriving back at your Marrakech accommodation in the late afternoon and thereby concluding a memorable day of cinematic history and stunning landscapes.
