• • Nights 1 & 2: Merzouga Desert Camp

You will spend two nights in our luxury desert camp at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Your private Berber tent features comfortable beds, warm blankets, and traditional decoration. The camp serves delicious traditional Moroccan dinners, followed by live Berber music around the campfire under a spectacular canopy of stars. The camp offers upgraded amenities including private bathroom facilities in certain tent categories.

Your driver will assist with check-in at the camp and ensure your luggage is properly handled for the camel trek experience.

This tour combines scenic mountain driving with deep desert immersion, offering a perfect escape from the city to the Sahara.

• Scenic Drives: The journey from Fes to Merzouga involves substantial driving through constantly changing landscapes – from the green mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas to the dramatic gorges and palm oases of the Ziz Valley, finally reaching the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.

• Desert Immersion: You’ll have two full days to experience the Sahara, including camel treks at sunrise and sunset, 4×4 exploration to remote desert sites, and cultural interactions with local communities. The extended time in the desert allows for a deeper connection with this unique environment.

• Cultural Encounters: The tour includes authentic cultural experiences such as Gnawa music performances in Khamlia village, visits to nomadic settlements, and exploration of traditional markets and fossil workshops.

• Pacing: The first and third days involve longer drives, while the second day is dedicated entirely to desert exploration from your fixed camp base, providing a good balance between travel and immersion.

This 3-day Fes to Sahara Desert tour includes everything you need for a comfortable desert adventure. You travel with a professional, English-speaking driver/guide in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Accommodation is included for both nights in our luxury desert camp. All meals are included (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners). A sunset camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes and a 4×4 desert excursion are included. Your tour includes pick-up from your Fes accommodation and drop-off back to Fes.

The tour does not include lunches, drinks, tips, or personal expenses. Entrance fees to optional attractions are not included.
