Moroccan Desert Tours is a local agency based in Merzouga, near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Our team comes from the desert, and we have spent many years guiding travelers across Morocco. We know the roads, villages, mountains and oases that connect Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, Tangier and the Sahara.

We organize private and small-group Morocco desert tours with licensed drivers and comfortable vehicles. Our goal is to make every trip simple to plan, safe to travel and rich in real Moroccan experiences. From short 3-day tours to complete 10- or 12-day itineraries, we adapt each route to your travel dates and your pace.

Where We Operate

Moroccan Desert Tours arranges private trips from the main cities of Morocco. Many of our guests start in one place and finish in another, such as beginning in Marrakech and ending in Fes or Casablanca. Others travel from the north, like Tangier or Chefchaouen, and continue all the way to the Sahara. Every route is flexible, and we adapt it to your schedule and travel style.

We are proud to be a local desert agency. Our drivers are experienced, friendly and careful on the road. They speak English and are always ready to stop for photos, viewpoints, short walks or breaks when needed. You will be picked up from your hotel, riad or airport and taken across the country in a private 4×4 or minibus.

We work only with accommodations that we know personally. This includes traditional riads, guesthouses and our trusted desert camps in Merzouga and Zagora. You can choose between standard and luxury tents, depending on your preferences and the season. Clean rooms, warm hospitality and good food are always our priority.

Moroccan Desert Tours is run by a small local team from Merzouga. We grew up near the Erg Chebbi dunes and know the desert, the routes and the culture from real experience. Our goal is to welcome travelers in a warm and honest way, and to show the beauty of Morocco with comfort and safety.

Lhoussaine manages communication, planning and itinerary design. He helps travelers choose the right route and makes sure every detail of the tour is clear and comfortable.

Hassan – Lead Driver & Desert Guide

Hassan is from Merzouga and has many years of driving experience across Morocco. Calm, friendly and reliable, he takes care of guests on the road and always drives safely.

Mohammed – Driver & Local Expert

Mohammed knows every village, view and hidden spot on the way to the Sahara. He enjoys sharing stories about Berber culture and guiding travelers through the desert.

Aziz– Guest Relations & Camp Manager

Aziz helps prepare the desert camp experience and coordinates with accommodations to ensure guests feel comfortable from arrival to departure.
